REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in job related area
- Wyoming PTSB certification appropriate for the subject and grade level or both, as required.
- Job related experience
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Teaching experience
- Background in PBIS and Restorative Justice
POSITION SUMMARY
To build positive, trusting relationships with assigned students and assist them as they work to meet
their academic goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct individualized tutorial sessions for assigned students with academic deficiencies; helps to determine what skill areas require additional assistance.
- Design and implement exercises and activities to facilitate assigned students’ academic improvement.
- Assist with the maintenance of records required to document assigned students’ attendance and academic progress.
- Help to determine students’ needs for assistance in other areas such as counseling and makes referrals as necessary.
- Help students develop independent study skills and organization techniques to help improve their academic performance.
- Communicate proactively with teaching staff, students, parents and building administrators as applicable. Report to the school administrator if unsatisfactory progress is observed in tutoring sessions.
- May be involved in arranging or assisting various special academic programs which are in addition to normal tutorial sessions.
- Assist in planning and delivering of in person physical and wellness activities to students
- Assists in transportation of students as needed or assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of certified or classified personnel.
SALARY SCHEDULE
This position will be paid according to the approved Certified Teacher Salary Schedule.
$49,200-$76,700
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
School Year Calendar, unless otherwise assigned by supervisor.

Employment is contingent on a local, state, and federal criminal background clearance.
